AffiliateIQ is a SaaS analytics platform operated by Affiliate IQ Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We help TikTok Shop creators track and optimise their affiliate performance. We are the data controller for the personal data we process about you.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use AffiliateIQ:

• Email address and account credentials
• Display name (if provided)
• TikTok account data (username, video performance, commission data) — only when you connect your TikTok account
• Usage data such as pages visited and features used
• Billing information processed via Stripe (we do not store card details directly)

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

• Contract — to provide the AffiliateIQ service you have signed up for
• Legitimate interests — to improve our platform, prevent fraud, and ensure security
• Consent — for optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the AffiliateIQ service
• To display your analytics dashboard
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send product updates and performance reports (you can opt out at any time in Settings)
• To respond to support requests

5. Data Storage and International Transfers

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with servers located in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. By using AffiliateIQ, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements for international data transfers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. By using AffiliateIQ you consent to the use of these essential cookies.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

• The right to access your personal data
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• The right to restrict or object to processing
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw consent at any time

9. Data Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@affiliateiq.co or by using the delete account option in your settings. We will process your request within 30 days.

10. Third Parties

We do not sell your data to third parties. We use the following third-party services to operate AffiliateIQ:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• TikTok API — to retrieve your affiliate data on your behalf, subject to TikTok's own privacy policy
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

11. Right to Complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
